About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the services that power our platform. You'll work closely with product and infrastructure teams to ship reliable, high-performance systems, own critical parts of our Java/Spring Boot stack, and mentor engineers as our backend team grows.
What You'll Do
Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Own key microservices from architecture through deployment and monitoring
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ship features end-to-end
Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, and participate in code reviews
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional backend development experience
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Experience designing and operating microservices in production
Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of relational databases and system design
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
